East Timor is a country dominated by Malayo- Polynesians and Papuans. There is a Chinese minority. Malayo -Polynesians or Austronesians are people of Malay and Polynesian descent. Polynesians are people whose ancestors are from the Polynesian triangle which is shown in aaykanrajan.wixsite.com/soulforlife/post/palmerston-island-part-1 . People of Papuan descent are the people whose ancestry originates from Indonesia's West Papua or Papua New Guinea. East Timor is also known as Timor Leste and most East Timorese, like Filipinos, are Roman Catholics. The capital is Dili.
