About 1 and a half millenniums ago, Thiruvalluvar, the greatest philosopher and writer of Tamil, wrote an ancient text called the Thirukkural, which has 1330 sayings, but there are believed to be more that may have been lost over the approximately 15 centuries. Today, I proudly present my Kural, or saying. It has 7 words like all the Kuralgal, or sayings, in the Thirukural.

Meaning: Jokes and comedy told among friends should not hurt anyone's feelings.
I have a great interest in Tamil. I love the language. I have read all of the five great Tamil texts' abridged version for kids, I have written my own Tamil story and now i have written my very own Kural. I would love to delve further into Tamil and read the ஐஞ்சிறு காப்பியங்கள் and தொல்காப்பியம், other great pieces of Tamil's literature.
