Below is a map of the Vanuatu area. The main ethnic group is the Melanesians. The main religion is Christianity like I mentioned in aaykanrajan.wixsite.com/soulforlife/post/papua-new-guinea for Papua New Guinea and aaykanrajan.wixsite.com/soulforlife/post/solomon-islands-melanesia for the Solomon Islands. The main languages are Bislama, French and English. Bislama is a creole that consists of English-like vocabulary, English alphabet and Melanesian Grammar and Phonetics. Bislama is also based on Ni- Vanuatu, the language that the indigenous inhabitants of Vanuatu speak. Bislama is part of the Southern Oceanic language linkage that covers the Oceanic languages spoken in both Vanuatu and New Caledonia. During the colonisation of Melanesia, shared Vanuatu. The 2 countries agreed to call the archipelago the 'New Hebrides' as well. Therefore, both English and French are main languages.
