Eagle Of Finland

On an ordinary night, when the sky was no longer bright, a Finnish boy named Arnfinn was looking at his toy figure named Thorin. Suddenly, there was a very bright glow, so bright that Arnfinn looked out of the window. To prevent hurting his eye, he ended up looking at the night sky. A thunderbolt appeared in front of the Thorin figure and it said ,''Hello!'' with marvellous posture. Thorin caught Arnfinn's attention by making his hair stand in a weird fashion.

Arnfinn said ,''Hello Thorin! My name is Arnfinn!'' and Thorin replied,''Hi! I am Thorin! I've heard that you've been bullied and I will help you deal with it. Your name means 'Eagle Of Finland' and mine means 'Thunder' so we will go well together. Tomorrow, I'll teach you how to deal with bullies and in return you need to fill my tummy with Double-A batteries.'' Soon, they both slept soundly, and the next day Arnfinn got up really early. In school, Arnfinn tolerated the bullying for the whole day and was prepared to learn how to put bullying at bay.

At night, Thorin gave some sound advice which was very nice.''Stay calm.'' said Thorin. Get some friends to help you stand up to the bully. Walk away from the bully and avoid him or her totally. Don't shout, yell or fight back. Don't deal with the bully alone.Get help from a teacher and talk about it to your parents when you get back home.'' Arnfinn thanked Thorin and remembered what he had said.

The next day, Arnfinn applied his bully-fighting techniques to keep the bully away. The bully was very aggressive but Arnfinn's friends were really protective. '' Come fight me like a man''challenged the bully, with his fists clenched all too ready. Arnfinn knew he had something to say. He said that he was not afraid of the bully and that he did not want to fight the bully. He also told the bully to go away. He did all this in a very polite way. Together, Arnfinn and his friends proved that they were united and not intimidated. Finally, Arnfinn had won the war and he had someone back home to thank for. He bought two Double -A batteries to feed Thorin and he was glad to have a friend at home who was so very caring.

THE END

Note: Arnfinn means 'Eagle Of Finland' in Finnish. The eagle above represents that 'Eagle Of Finland' in real life as it is the only eagle spotted in Finland that is native to the nation. Hope you have enjoyed reading this Finnish post.
