Bahamas Story Part 3: The SRB, the ROB and the NSDP-Bahamas

2 months before the dictator of the SRB ( Louis )’ 70th birthday, a dispute broke out as to who Louis’ successor should be. Louis had appointed his vice president, but two thousand people disagreed with their president’s decision and pushed for the governor of Cat Island to be the new president of the SRB. 3000 Bahamians died in the war that ensued. The war ended on the day before the inauguration of Louis’ vice president, Manuel. On the day of Manuel’s inauguration, Louis beheaded Manuel and proclaimed the Republic of Bahamas. Infuriated, Manuel’s son assassinated Louis, ending his rule over the Bahamas. After these chaotic events, 800 Bahamians migrated to the DRB. Meanwhile, 150 people supported the Republic of Bahamas ( ROB ), while 50 people supported the SRB.

The presidents of both republics were undecided, so Manuel’s son and the governor of Cat Island competed for the presidency of the SRB militarily.

Using this dispute to their advantage, the ROB massacred the citizens of the SRB, leaving only Manuel’s son and the governor of Cat Island. The governor of Cat Island won, but realised that his nation had no citizens. He fled to the DRB immediately.

The ROB then had full control over Cat Island. However, 50 citizens of the ROB felt that the ROB did not have enough citizens to function so they migrated to the DRB. The remaining 30 citizens of the ROB debated over who should be the president of the ROB. The debate turned into a fight with 2 factions facing off against each other. 20 citizens of the ROB died in the fight.

The remaining 10 citizens of the ROB elected a president, who secretly killed the 4 citizens that did not vote for him. Angered by this, another 2 citizens attempted to kill the president of the ROB but were unsuccessful. Instead, these 2 citizens were killed by the president of the ROB. Due to fear of being killed by the president of the ROB, another citizen of the ROB called Davis fled to the DRB, where he formed the Social Democratic Party of the Bahamas ( SDP-Bahamas ) with the governor of Cat Island.

The 2 citizens of the ROB, excluding the president, were married to each other. However, the president of the ROB secretly wanted to marry the female citizen of the ROB, so he killed the male citizen of the ROB and enslaved his wife. He married her and they had a son by the name of Jose. However, about a year after Jose turned 1 years old, the president of the ROB died of a heart attack. With no one to enslave her, Jose’s mother became free. She lived like a tribal woman and raised Jose in the jungle, where he lived like a tribesman. When Jose’s mother was bitten by a venomous snake, she died as she had no access to medical treatment. Thus, Jose became the ruler, hermit and sole inhabitant of Cat Island and the president of the ROB.

He became very bored after being alone at Cat Island for a year so he abandoned Cat Island and moved to the DRB, where as the ruler of the ROB, he applied to join the SDP-Bahamas, which had 100 members at the time, including Jose.

The governor of Cat Island who was the president of the SDP-Bahamas was against the ROB, so he demanded that Jose work together with him to merge the ROB and the SDP-Bahamas into a single entity to join the SDP-Bahamas. This merger resulted in the creation of the New Social Democratic Party of the Bahamas
